Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Associate to join the Global Payment Network Audit team. The role focuses on evaluating technology and cybersecurity risks across critical functions and cloud-based environments, delivering independent assurance and actionable recommendations.

The ideal candidate will perform risk assessments, execute test procedures, and communicate findings with stakeholders while collaborating across the Audit group. Hybrid work and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• 2+ years of experience in technology, cloud, cybersecurity, or auditing.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute test procedures of critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, application, and third-party management.
• Perform risk assessments and testing based on area-specific risks and processes.
• Communicate issues, risks and recommendations to management at all levels.
• Operate independently and meet schedules and quality standards.
• Prepare clear, organized documentation to support work performed.
• Develop strong working relationships with business partners and Audit group.
• Leverage data analytics tools during planning and fieldwork phases.
