Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Technology Operations in Sunnyvale, CA to lead medium-to-high complexity IT programs. You will define goals, milestones, and budgets, break work into modules, and drive accountability across teams.

Expect to monitor schedules, costs, and risks while delivering timely status updates to stakeholders. This role emphasizes data-driven decisions, collaboration with fulfillment ops, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mgmt Info. Systems, Industrial Eng., Eng. Mgmt, Business, Info. Systems, Project/Program Mgmt, Information Technology, Finance, Management, SCM or related area and 3 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in those areas and 5 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
• Experience developing data models for analytics using SQL.
• Experience visualizing data models for analytics and reporting using Tableau or advanced Excel.
• Experience developing technical products including warehouse management systems and back-end supporting system logics.
• Experience managing complex projects from end to end and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience conducting profit and loss analysis.
• Experience making strategic cost reduction and revenue generating recommendations.
• Experience partnering with fulfillment center operations team to drive quality excellence.

Responsabilités

• Develop and document project goals, deliverables, schedules, and milestones for medium to high complexity projects.
• Create and maintain accountability matrices to clarify roles, responsibilities, and timelines.
• Break programs into project modules with assigned tasks and milestones.
• Track operational and financial factors to influence outcomes and provide stakeholder updates.
• Monitor resource usage and ensure accurate reporting and efficient allocation.
• Identify risks and prepare documented response plans, including scenario analysis.
• Define and track performance measures, milestones and forecasts to address risks.
• Use PM tools to monitor schedules, costs, deliverables, and risks and prepare status reports.
• Facilitate cross-team communication and clarify requirements, updates, and progress.
• Present updates clearly and resolve ambiguities for stakeholders.
• Build collaborative relationships to support delivery and incorporate feedback into processes.
• Stay informed of business trends and apply insights to improve outcomes.
• Apply business and financial fundamentals to monitor costs, resources and performance measures.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate insights into tracking and reporting processes.
