About the Role
Forge Digital Inc. is seeking a Senior Teamcenter Solution Architect — a senior-most
individual contributor and client-facing leader who defines the technical vision for complex
PLM transformations. This is not an implementation coordinator role. You will own the
architecture of flagship engagements, lead pre-sales technical discovery, author proposals,
and represent Forge as a subject matter authority in front of C-suite and VP-level client
stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Define end-to-end PLM architecture for enterprise-scale Teamcenter programs across multiple client engagements.
- Lead technical discovery — conducting architecture assessments, health checks, and stakeholder interviews to diagnose current-state gaps and define future-state roadmaps.
- Author and present solution architectures, technical proposals, and SOW scope definitions for new and existing client opportunities.
- Serve as the highest technical escalation point on active engagements — resolving architecture-level issues that delivery teams cannot.
- Advise clients on Teamcenter roadmap alignment, Siemens product strategy, and integration patterns with NX, Simcenter, ERP, and MES systems.
- Lead Digital Engineering strategy engagements including MBSE adoption, digital thread design, and model-based approaches to product development.
- Drive pre-sales technical conversations with client engineering leadership and IT decision-makers.
- Mentor and develop Teamcenter Architects and senior consultants on the Forge delivery team.
- Partner with Forge leadership on practice development, service offering definition, and technical thought leadership.
- Represent Forge Digital at client executive briefings, industry events, and partner engagements with Siemens.
What You Bring
- 10–20+ years of Teamcenter experience with at least 5 years in an architecture or solution design leadership role.
- Demonstrated record of owning the technical architecture of large-scale Teamcenter programs (multi-site, multi-discipline, multi-year).
- Deep expertise across the Teamcenter platform: BMIDE, AWC, Workflow, Classification, Multi-Site, FSC, Reporting & Analytics, Dispatcher.
- Strong understanding of Teamcenter integration patterns — NX, Simcenter, SAP, Oracle, and manufacturing execution systems.
- Experience leading PLM health checks, maturity assessments, or vendor-neutral advisory engagements.
- Ability to communicate technical architecture to non-technical executive audiences — clearly, confidently, and without jargon.
- Track record of supporting or leading pre-sales technical activities: RFP responses, SOW scoping, level-of-effort estimation.
- Strong written communication; capable of producing board-ready architecture documents and executive briefings.
- US Citizenship required (clients operate in ITAR-controlled environments; active clearance a significant plus).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Teamcenter Aerospace & Defense, EBOM/MBOM management, or configuration management workflows in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with MBSE methodologies (SysML, Cameo, Rhapsody) and model-based digital thread strategy.
- Exposure to Siemens Xcelerator portfolio beyond Teamcenter: Simcenter, Capital, Polarion, or Mendix.
- Prior experience at a Siemens Digital Industries Software reseller, systems integrator, or as an independent PLM consultant.
- Existing relationships within the aerospace, defense, nuclear, or advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
Why This Role is Different
At Forge Digital, the Solution Architect is not a title — it's a function. You will:
- Have direct influence over which engagements Forge pursues and how they are scoped.
- Work alongside company leadership on strategy, not inside a hierarchy insulated from decisions.
- Serve clients who are building next-generation aircraft, spacecraft, and energy systems — the work matters.
- Be compensated like a senior technical leader, with a performance structure tied to engagement outcomes.
