Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Tax Specialist to support U.S. tax compliance, reporting, and related activities for the firm and its partners.

You will collaborate with internal teams, outside advisors, and tax authorities to ensure timely, accurate filings. Key duties include preparing quarterly and annual tax calculations, assisting with partner tax reporting, state tax requirements, and responding to tax notices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or EA certification required.
• 5+ years of tax accounting or compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support quarterly and annual tax calculations, filings, and related reporting.
• Assist with partner tax reporting, state tax requirements, and annual tax information distribution.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and partners on tax compliance matters.
• Review tax schedules, filings, depreciation calculations, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Assist with tax notices, audits, and inquiries from federal and state tax authorities.
• Support tax-related requirements for employees or partners working internationally.
