Joyful Jobs is seeking an Income Tax Return Preparer for Bottom Line Tax & Accounting in Tucson, AZ. You will prepare returns for individuals and businesses using Ultra Tax software, review records, and ensure accuracy under deadlines.

Ideal candidates have EA/CPA credentials, 3+ years in public accounting or tax prep, and proficiency with QuickBooks. This role offers a structured environment with performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• EA or CPA required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a public accounting firm or tax preparation business.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review financial records to determine forms needed for returns.
• Prepare year-end and adjust journal entries.
• Prepare reconciliation statements of book to tax.
• Prepare schedules and analyses supporting tax entries.
• Interview and correspond with clients for information.
• Compute taxes owed and complete form entries per instructions.
• Perform tax research on IRS and state laws and rulings.
• Verify inputs of drafted returns prepared by others.
• Compare prior year vs current year income, deductions and taxes.
• Organize income tax packages for final review.
