Job summary

EY EDGE is seeking a seasoned tax professional to join our Financial Services Organization in a hybrid role across the US. You will lead complex tax and accounting engagements, oversee tax processes, and help deliver high-quality client work while mentoring teammates.

The role requires a Bachelor's in relevant fields and a CPA/EA/Attorney designation, with at least 5 years in professional services or tax. Strong communication, analytical and research skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, tax, law, or economics.
• Licensed CPA, EA, or attorney designation is required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a professional services or tax environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with tax software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex tax and accounting engagements with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate day-to-day client work, review deliverables, and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct research on tax issues and advise on compliant positions.
• Develop team members and mentor junior staff to enhance technical skills.
• Maintain knowledge of new tax laws and EY technologies.
