Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Sr Manager, Tax Operations - BSC (Hybrid) in Chicago to lead the tax accounting, compliance, and forecasting efforts for a large publicly traded energy company. The role directs tax professionals, optimizes positions, and ensures timely obligations while advancing process improvements within a dynamic tax function.

The position reports to the Tax Director and collaborates across regulatory matters, audits, and rate filings, with a hybrid work setup at the Chicago

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Accounting or related financial discipline.
• 10+ years tax experience in large publicly traded corporations.
• CPA or other financial certification; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead interim and annual tax accounting for income and TOTIT; document calculations and positions.
• Oversee federal and state income tax calculations, returns, extensions, and notices.
• Forecast tax obligations and model scenarios; manage regulatory filings and rate cases.
• Direct performance, mentoring, and development of tax staff; drive process improvements.
