Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and review complex tax engagements for corporations, partnerships, S-Corporations, trusts, and individuals.
• Provide proactive tax planning and strategic consulting to business and individual clients.
• Perform advanced tax research and develop practical client solutions.
• Manage multiple client engagements while meeting budgets and deadlines.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, work-in-progress, and accounts receivable.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Mentor, train, and develop staff accountants and senior associates.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide coaching.
• Supervise staff performance and formal training initiatives.
• Analyze IRS and state tax notices and prepare responses.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and practice growth initiatives.
• Participate in networking and local business organizations to expand client relationships.
