Job summary

Caliber Recruiting Group is partnered with a growing Tampa, FL CPA and business advisory services firm seeking a high-caliber Tax Manager. You will lead tax planning, review for C-Corps, S-Corps, estates, trusts, and partnerships, and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities include researching complex tax issues, coordinating with partners, and delivering compliant, strategic tax solutions for private and public clients. Hybrid/remote options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of public accounting experience, CPA preferred or CPA in progress.
• Enrolled Agent also acceptable with 4-6 years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with tax review on C-Corp, S-Corp, individual, HNW, and complex entity arrangements.
• Experience with tax and accounting software programs (CCH, Pro System, Thomson Reuters).

Responsibilities

• Strong analytical and technical tax accounting skills with ability to research and implement tax liability strategies and provide leadership in tax work for private and public businesses.
• Perform tax prep and review for multiple entities including partnerships, C-Corps, S-Corps, individuals, and trusts.
• Lead and mentor tax staff and coach junior employees.
• Collaborate with partners for reviewing complex issues and strategies for multiple clients
