The Senior Tax Manager (Construction Focus) will lead complex tax engagements, mentor staff, and advise owners and executives on long-term tax strategies while working in a flexible hybrid/remote environment in Scottsdale.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's in Taxation preferred.
Active CPA license required.
Minimum 7 years of public accounting tax experience with construction focus.
Experience reviewing complex tax returns and leading client engagements.
Knowledge of pass-through entities and multi-state taxation.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Review complex federal and multi-state tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, LLCs, and real estate entities.
Lead tax planning and consulting engagements from start to finish.
Advise clients on long-term contract accounting and related tax implications.
Serve as trusted advisor to construction business owners and executive teams.
Research and resolve complex federal and state tax issues.
Mentor, supervise, and develop tax staff and managers.
Review workpapers and returns for technical accuracy and quality.
Assist with IRS/state notices and examinations.
