Insite US is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager in New York City with a strong partnership tax background. You will lead a portfolio of partnership-heavy engagements, delivering both compliance and strategic advisory services, while managing key client relationships and mentoring junior staff.

This leadership role focuses on technical excellence, collaboration with Partners on business development, and driving growth within the commercial tax practice in a hybrid NYC setting.

• 8+ years of public accounting tax experience.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Senior Manager with a strong partnership tax background to join a national CPA and advisory practice.

The firm works with privately held companies, partnerships and complex business structures, providing both tax compliance and strategic advisory services.

They're looking for someone who can combine technical expertise with the ability to manage important client relationships and develop the next generation of tax professionals.

Your Focus

You’ll lead a portfolio of partnership-heavy commercial tax engagements, including:

• Complex federal and multistate partnership tax compliance.
• Partnership allocations, capital accounts and basis calculations.
• Technical matters involving Sections 704(b), 704(c), 754 and related provisions.
• Tax implications of partnership formations, restructurings and transactions.
• Review of partnership returns and K-1 reporting.
• Tax planning for privately held businesses and their owners.
• Complex tax research and technical advice.
• Senior client relationship management.
• Oversight and development of Tax Managers and Seniors.
• Collaboration with Partners on business development and practice growth.
