Brewer Morris seeks a Tax Senior Manager – SALT to join its National Tax practice. This high-visibility role involves complex client work and collaboration across a growing SALT platform.

Requirements include 7+ years in indirect tax (U.S. sales & use tax), CPA/EA/JD/etc., and comfort with Avalara. Remote candidates may be considered; travel ~10% expected. Salary range $145,000–$245,000 base, with discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Tax a plus).
• CPA, CMA, CMI, JD, or EA required.
• 7+ years of progressive indirect tax experience, focus on U.S. sales & use tax.
• Strong experience with sales tax compliance software (Avalara preferred).
• Proven ability to research and resolve multi-state sales tax issues.
• Excellent client service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tax research tools (CCH, RIA, etc.).
• Willingness to travel up to ~10%.
• Location: commutable to firm offices; fully remote candidates may be considered with strong Avalara experience
