Tax Senior Manager search in Northeast Ohio for a boutique RIA; role emphasizes client service, technical tax excellence, and collaboration with financial planning teams. Flexible hours with no business development pressure, and equity potential for the right fit.
Position supports ownership of tax engagements and staff development across multiple client accounts, including individuals, trusts, and family-owned businesses.
I am partnering with a boutique, independent Registered Investment Advisory firm in Northeast Ohio to hire a Tax Senior Manager. The firm added tax and accounting services in 2025 through the acquisition of an established local CPA practice and is now growing that side of the business.
Because wealth management, not tax, drives the firm's revenue, this role runs very differently than a traditional public accounting environment: reasonable hours, no business development expectations, and a genuinely client-centered culture that values "better over bigger."
It also flips a dynamic a lot of tax professionals know too well. At many public firms, the rainmakers get the spotlight while the client-focused, technically strong accountants get overworked and undervalued. Here, that competency-based, client-service accountant is the one who matters most. No pressure to go sell, just the space to do excellent work for the people you serve.
