Overview

We are working with a Cincinnati-based accounting firm that is adding to its team. This role offers stability and growth in a small to mid-sized environment. the ideal candidate will bring extensive tax knowledge and will also work on audit projects and provide general accounting support.

Responsibilities

• Able to prepare local, state, and federal tax returns; you will work with a mix of individuals, partnerships, S-Corp, and C-Corp clients.
• Tax research.
• Manage client relationships, including routine meetings throughout the year to offer tax strategy advice among other things.
• Assist on various audit projects as assigned.
• Own the general accounting function for some organizations; including preparing monthly financial statements, and more.
• Tax/Audit review; the goal is for this firm to continue to hire and you will be tasked with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting/Finance
• CPA is required (or CPA track)
• 5-10+ years of related experience, including some time spent in public accounting
