Role Description

The Senior Tax Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandler, AZ, responsible for overseeing complex tax engagements and leading client relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing tax planning and compliance projects, reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
The Senior Tax Manager will supervise and mentor tax staff, provide technical guidance on intricate tax issues, and collaborate with partners on engagement strategy and workflow.
The role also involves researching tax law changes, presenting recommendations to clients, participating in audits and examinations as needed, and contributing to process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Tax Planning and Tax Compliance to design effective strategies and ensure accurate filings.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Tax Preparation and Tax Law to manage complex returns and interpret current regulations.
• Candidates should possess a broad understanding of Tax concepts and frameworks to advise clients across multiple industries.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required; bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (master’s in Taxation preferred).
• Significant experience in public accounting with progressive responsibility in tax management and client advisory roles.
