Job summary

Carr, Riggs & Ingram in Harlingen, TX seeks a Supervising Senior Associate, Tax to lead complex return preparation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.

You will analyze tax issues, prepare estimated payments, and mentor staff while delivering exceptional client service. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. A CPA-exam eligible candidate with at least four years in public accounting is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPA eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
• Public accounting experience with progression in tax complexity.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tax returns under deadline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, corporations and partnerships.
• Analyze tax issues and arrive at conclusions.
• Prepare quarterly and year-end estimates for tax planning.
• Perform diversified accounting, auditing and tax assignments under supervision.
• Demonstrate technical skills and client-focused service.
• Meet time constraints and client deadlines.
• Develop staff relationships and participate in firm training.
• Provide excellent client service with quality work and quick turnaround.
• Conduct tax research using firm reference sources.
