Kaufman Rossin, a leading public accounting firm in Boca Raton, seeks a senior-level tax professional to join our dynamic Tax Services team. You will provide planning and compliance services for inbound and outbound owner/entrepreneurial clients.

Ideal candidates have a CPA (preferred), 3+ years of public accounting tax experience, and strong knowledge of tax provisions. This on-site role offers growth, client interaction, and collaboration with a top Florida firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting required.
• Master’s in Taxation or working toward completion required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of all tax provisions.
• At least 3 years of recent public accounting tax experience (1040s, 1065s, 1120, 1120S).

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, private equity funds, etc.
• First-level review of returns prepared by interns and lower-level staff.
• Assist Managers with client information gathering, issue resolution, and process improvements.
• Manage engagement budgets effectively.
• Mentor interns and staff.
• Resolve tax authority issues directly with IRS and others.
