Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks a seasoned tax professional for a Naperville, IL public accounting firm. The role leads tax engagements for a diverse client roster, focusing on individuals, businesses, partnerships, trusts and estates.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience, a CPA is preferred but not required, and strong communication and analytical skills with proficiency in tax software such as Lacerte.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
• CPA license preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills with tax software proficiency (Lacerte a plus)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, partnerships, trusts and estates
• Lead engagements across tax and accounting including research, planning, compliance and consulting
• Supervise and oversee tax staff
• Build and maintain client relationships
