Qualifications

• 3 – 10 years of recent tax experience in a CPA firm.
• CPA license required.
• Experience preparing tax returns including individuals, trusts, partnerships and S corporations.
• Highly motivated to learn and produce quality work.
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with little direction.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with coworkers and clients.
• Works effectively with team members.
• Able to build strong client relationships by responding quickly and providing knowledgeable, concise communication to the client.
• Experience providing mentorship to entry level staff.

Responsabilités

• Works with the tax team to prepare complex business and individual tax returns.
• Performs the initial review of individual and business returns prepared by entry-level staff.
• Provides timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Handles routine client tax questions, and works with clients to obtain the information to prepare complete and accurate returns.
• Alerts manager and partner of any tax compliance issues in timely manner.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Stays informed of tax law changes and news.
