Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a rapidly growing public accounting firm to recruit a Senior Tax Accountant (CPA). This role focuses on complex individual tax returns and 1040 expertise, with responsibility for both individual and business taxation within a public accounting setting.

The ideal candidate has an Active CPA license and at least 5 years of tax preparation and planning experience.

Qualificações

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years tax preparation and tax planning in a public accounting environment.
• Strong and recent experience with complex individual tax returns and extensive 1040 preparation.
• Experience preparing both business and individual tax returns.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Ability to work onsite in Marietta four days per week.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, trusts and estates.
• Perform tax planning, research, and strategic consulting for clients.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and optimize client tax positions.
• Review returns prepared by junior staff and provide mentorship and guidance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely tax compliance.
• Participate in client meetings and provide professional tax recommendations.
