Shift Pursuit in Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Accountant / Tax Senior to join our established professional services team serving individuals, high-net-worth clients, business owners, and closely held businesses. The role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, tax planning, financial reporting, and providing practical financial guidance to clients.

The ideal candidate has public accounting or tax experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Lacerte, CS Professional

Formación

• Experience in tax preparation and/or review for individuals and businesses.
• Exposure to high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses.
• Background in public accounting or related professional environment.
• Strong financial statement and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients on tax matters.
• High attention to detail, analytical ability, and commercial judgment.
• Experience with Lacerte, CS Professional Suite, QuickBooks, or similar software.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns.
• Support clients with tax planning and financial questions.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and explain the numbers.
• Advise business owners on opportunities and issues with practical guidance.
• Assist with general ledger activity, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Research tax and accounting matters and develop practical recommendations.
• Build long-term client relationships and provide professional service.
