Job summary

KPMG LLP in Miami is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice. You will provide tax compliance and advisory services to ultra-high net worth individuals, their families, and family offices.

You will prepare complex individual income, gift, estate and trust tax returns, manage a portfolio of clients, and lead teams on client projects while delivering high-quality tax guidance. The role also involves contributing to market activities beyond the firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of ultra-high net worth individual and/or trust and estate tax experience in an accounting firm and/or law firm.
• Credentials: Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, or MST from an accredited college/university.
• Deep experience with individual income tax, gift tax, estate tax, and trust taxation; multi-generational estate planning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to owners and senior executives of ultra-high net worth clients.
• Prepare complex individual income, gift, estate and trust tax returns.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
• Advise clients and deliver high quality tax service and advice.
• Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm.
