Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, stats, or related field.
• CPA eligible, CPA license ideal, EA is a plus or working to obtain EA.
• 3–5 years of solid tax prep and review experience in local/accounting environments.
• Proficiency with tax software programs (Thomson Reuters, Pro System, CCH, etc.).
• Understanding of tax laws and ability to work in a fast-paced tax environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for various entities and VIP clients.
• Enter data into tax prep software (CCH, Pro System, Ultra Tax, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with firm guidelines and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with partners and assist junior staff on prep and review.
• Coordinate with IRS when needed.
