Qualifications

• Accounting degree required or equivalent.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience.
• Familiarity with Prosystem fx software: Tax, Engagement, Fixed Asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex individual and business tax returns.
• Respond to tax notices and review payroll tax returns.
• Good communication skills with clients; participate in firm growth activities.
• Conduct self-review to ensure work is complete and no open issues exist.
• Draft research memos and formulate preliminary conclusions for clients.
• Identifies alternatives for issues and consults with the engagement team.
• Develops interns and staff by delegating and training them to be successful.
• Provides constructive feedback to all levels in a timely manner.
• Proactively communicates work/project status with the engagement team and client.
• Demonstrates an understanding of tax planning concepts and applies tax codes.
• Masters tax software tools for preparation, review, and research.
