Job summary

Thempgroupcpa is seeking a qualified accounting professional in Massachusetts to join our tax and advisory team. The role involves building trusting client relationships, researching and advising on tax issues, and representing clients in audits.

You will review personal and corporate returns and supervise audit procedures across varied industries. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, be pursuing or hold a CPA license, and demonstrate strong leadership, prioritization,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting is required.
  • CPA license either obtained or in progress is required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership abilities with sound judgment and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our team to build trusting client relationships.
  • Develop solutions to tax issues through researching and recommending implications.
  • Assist with representation of clients in taxing authority audits.
  • Participate in special tax and consulting projects including estate and financial planning.
  • Review personal and corporate tax returns for accuracy.
  • Supervise and review audit procedures applying GAAP across engagements.
  • Participate in Firm social and technical committees and recruitment.
  • Mentor and coach staff and interns.
