Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst within the Financial Services Organization in the United States. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals on hedge fund, private equity, and mutual fund taxation, including tax planning and advisory services.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality tax solutions to clients in a hybrid work model. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of relevant tax experience in financial services, a CPA/EA or attorney license, and strong teamwork and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant tax experience or equivalent in financial services.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and state/local tax exposure.
• Excellent teaming, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Join us in a hybrid model with in-person collaboration ~60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Support new and existing client relationships.
• Provide compliance and consulting delivery services to meet deadlines.
• Prepare or review complex tax closings, tax filings and related tasks.
• Compile and evaluate moderately complex data and tax computations.
• Ensure service quality and understand scope-related risks.
• Develop, document, and gain cross-functional alignment on processes.
• Provide direction and day-to-day supervision to staff.
• Maintain EY internal network and provide technical assistance.
• Demonstrate deep technical excellence and broaden skills across capabilities.
