Job summary

Twitch is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join the Tax Team. You will manage Vertex, perform data analysis for global information reporting and tax compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation and efficiency.

This role can be based in Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA, reporting to the Tax Director, with responsibilities spanning 1099/1042S, reconciliation, and support for indirect tax and other tax initiatives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• Experience in ERP environments (SAP and/or Oracle).
• 4+ years of tax experience (Big 4 or tech industry).
• Vertex experience including rule mapping, testing, updates and systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal business partners on collection, preparation, and submission of global information reporting forms.
• Assist in maintenance, operation, and configuration of Vertex for Twitch.
• Support AI and scalable automation in tax compliance and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with Tax Team on data-driven projects and complex analyses.
• Assist with Forms 1099 and 1042S prep and filing.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of transaction uploads to revenue reports and indirect tax accounts.
