Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. in Cary, NC seeks a Senior Tax Analyst to join the Tax Department and collaborate with accounting and cross-functional teams. The role focuses on federal and state income/franchise tax returns, ASC 740 provisions, and tax planning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong corporate tax background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Reporting to the Tax Director, CPA or Master’s degree is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of corporate income tax experience.
• Proficiency in tax compliance software (OneSource preferred).
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax and GAAP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review federal, state income and franchise tax returns and extensions.
• Assist with quarterly/annual ASC 740 provision.
• Calculate quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions.
• Research complex tax topics as needed.
• Draft technical memos on tax positions and planning matters.
• Compile data to support audits and information requests.
• Assist with tax technology upgrades and implementations.
• Prepare quarterly fixed asset reconciliations.
• Support other projects as they arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
