Baker Tilly is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our Northern California private wealth tax practice, based in the San Francisco area. The role focuses on delivering tax compliance and advisory services to high net worth individuals and flow-through entities.

You will collaborate with partners and colleagues to serve mid-market clients, develop technical skills, and contribute to a collaborative, client-focused advisory team.

Responsabilités

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing tax compliance and advisory services to private wealth and flow-through clients
• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to individuals (HNW and Ultra-HNW), s-corporations, partnerships, and corporations in the middle-market space
• Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries
• Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of tax
• Develop recommendations for the client to consider and share with leadership to discuss and strategize
• Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in the state and local, high net worth, international, research and development along with credits and incentives areas
• Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs
