Amentum is seeking a Senior, Tax Advisory to join our corporate tax team in Bethesda, MD. This role supports domestic and international tax planning, research, and controversy, with a focus on M&A, transfer pricing, and tax credits.

The ideal candidate has JD/CPA and 5+ years in public accounting or multinational firms, or 3+ years with a Masters. You will collaborate with Legal, Contracts, Treasury, and Business Development to optimize tax positions and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• JD and CPA required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or multinational corporate tax.
• US Citizenship is required and willingness to work in-office near Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Support domestic and international tax advisory projects including financing, cash repatriation, and M&A.
• Perform tax research and assist with planning, modeling, and structuring.
• Support US R&D tax credit claims and documentation.
• Collaborate with Legal, Contracts, Treasury and Business Development.
