Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience preparing complex tax returns.
• Experience with tax preparation software (BNA, CCH Axcess).
• Competency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns, including complex ones.
• Review simpler returns prepared by junior staff.
• Collaborate with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and related entities on tax work papers.
• Maintain direct communication with clients and management teams.
• Prepare tax accounting adjustments and financial statements for various entity types.
• Prepare payroll tax returns for state and federal reporting.
• Identify tax issues and suggest strategies; respond to IRS inquiries.
