Job summary

Anderson Business Advisors is seeking a seasoned tax professional to manage complex tax preparation and review tasks for individuals and businesses. You will communicate with clients nationwide, advocate with tax authorities, and mentor junior staff while meeting deadlines.

The role requires a CPA or EA status preferred, strong Excel skills, and experience with tax software (1120/1065/1040). A hybrid work schedule, plus robust benefits, supports your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of tax preparation experience at a CPA firm.
• 3+ years preparing 1040s and business returns (1120/1120S/1065/1041).
• Strong Excel skills and experience with tax software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates.
• Mentor junior staff and lead projects.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Handle administrative client documentation and deadlines.
