Job summary

Jobot in South Florida (Boca Raton) is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team in a hybrid role. You will gain hands-on experience in tax, accounting, and assurance services while supporting client management and workflow improvements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in public accounting, strong financial statement skills, and solid knowledge of journal entries, GL, AP/AR, and other finance practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Strong accounting skills and ability to review financial statements.
• Knowledge of journal entries, general ledger, AP/AR, and related practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and analyzing financial records and general ledgers
• Compiling and reviewing financial statements
• Assisting with banking and client financial relationships
• Preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Ensuring the preparation of thorough and accurate workpapers
• Identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and profitability
• Supporting the evaluation and selection of accounting software
• Designing and implementing accounting systems and process improvements
