Stratton & Associates Accountancy Corporation, a small but well established CPA firm, seeks a skilled tax professional to prepare complex filings and provide proactive tax planning for individuals and business clients. You will work directly with the owner to optimize tax positions and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in tax preparation and planning, a Bachelor's or Master's in accounting/tax, and CPA or EA certification.

Competenze

• 4+ years of progressive experience in tax preparation, tax planning and public accounting.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or tax.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.

Mansioni

• Tax preparation for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts.
• Develop tax planning strategies and projections to minimize liabilities.
• Prepare, review and assist clients with accounting and bookkeeping questions.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and assist with tax and accounting issues.
• Stay updated on changing tax laws and respond to government notices.
• Knowledge of payroll, 1099s and Business Property Statements.
