Job summary

DBN Tax LLC in Utah is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to handle tax engagements for individuals and closely held businesses, with emphasis on S-Corps and Partnerships. You will prepare and review returns, manage client books in QuickBooks Online, and directly interact with clients to gather information and ensure timely filings.

The role offers exposure to tax planning, client management, and collaboration with Partners, with a clear path for growth within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of tax accounting experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with staff and clients.
• Active CPA license, Enrolled Agent, or CPA-eligible (preferred).
• Experience with Ultratax and QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review various tax returns (individual, C-Corp, S-Corp) with minimal supervision.
• Perform general accounting and bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online to clean client books.
• Assist managers and partners in managing client relationships and gathering information.
• Research tax issues to serve clients' needs.
• Collaborate with leadership on large client engagements and problem-solving.
