Allworth Financial seeks a Senior Tax Accountant for our Walnut Creek, CA office in a hybrid, full-time role. You will prepare and review federal, state and local income tax returns and provide tax projections and analysis for clients.

This client-facing position supports our advisors and planning team with strategic tax planning and timely notices, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of individual/business tax preparation experience.
• Proficiency in income tax planning and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state and local income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Provide tax projections, analysis and notice resolution.
• Engage in client-facing activities and collaborate with financial planning teams on strategic tax planning.
• Review staff work and provide training.
