Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA certification preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA will be considered.
• Requires at least 3+ years of related experience.
• Fiduciary/trust returns experience a plus.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Management/mentoring experience with staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
• Review Individual, Trust, Gift and Estate tax returns.
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters and support partners.
• Research and consult on technical matters and special projects.
• Build relationships and communicate with clients and advisors for superior service.
• Participate in business development with partners and marketing to build client prospects.
• Assist, train and develop staff; participate in performance reviews.
• Attain technical competency and industry expertise via CPE and events.
• Review tax-related information including provisions and depreciation schedules.
• Lead multi-disciplined client service teams for account planning.
• Prepare and review client correspondence.
• Participate in firm events for industry-specific/regional clients and prospects.
