Boyum Barenscheer, a trusted local accounting firm with 50 years of experience, seeks a Tax Senior Accountant to manage tax data, prepare individual and mid-complex returns, and contribute to planning opportunities for diverse clients.

The role involves mentoring staff, staying updated on tax laws, and collaborating across audit, advisory, and tax teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions. Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in accounting or tax preparation.
• Active CPA licensure preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; with an emphasis on Excel and QuickBooks; Tax and Accounting software.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsabilidades

• Serves as trusted advisor to clients, providing tax guidance and opportunities for tax planning.
• Oversees preparation and review of business and personal tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Cultivates client relationships through regular communication and tailored tax strategies.
• Maintains awareness of budgets and deadlines to ensure timely deliverables.
• Conducts tax research on complex issues and provides informed recommendations.
• Leads and mentors staff on tax principles and firm procedures.
