This hands-on role emphasizes autonomy: you’ll review work from staff, lead onboarding and strategy sessions, and serve as the primary contact for your client portfolio with direct visibility into the business you support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• Hands-on monthly bookkeeping and financial statement prep experience.
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA or EA, or actively pursuing one.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop/Online or Thomson Reuters CS software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a dedicated portfolio of small business clients, including monthly bookkeeping and financial statements.
• Lead onboarding and strategy sessions for new clients.
• Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio with autonomy and direct visibility into the business you support.
