Job summary

Jobot, a modern tax and accounting firm in Basalt, CO, is seeking a tax professional to prepare and review individual and business returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S). You will partner with clients to answer questions, analyze records, and ensure compliance using AI-driven tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax preparation experience.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for partnerships and corporations.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• CPA, EA, or active pursuit of certification preferred.
• Experience with Lacerte or similar tax software preferred.
• Exposure to construction, real estate, or closely held business clients is a plus.
• Comfortable utilizing emerging technologies and AI-driven tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S
• Partner directly with clients to answer questions, provide guidance, and simplify complex tax matters
• Analyze financial records and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Leverage modern tax software, AI tools, and technology to improve efficiency and client outcomes
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance processes, drive continuous improvement, and deliver exceptional client service
