VTG Defense is seeking a Targeting Officer - Level 3 to support critical intelligence operations for our client across locations in the Washington, DC area. The role emphasizes technical research, analysis, report writing, briefings, and collaboration with field offices; requires TS/SCI with poly and 7–12 years of experience.

The position offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art tools, present to senior management, and contribute to high-profile missions in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7-12 years of applicable experience.
• TS/SCI with poly.
• Cable writing experience.
• Ability to identify and assess the right entities and the right vulnerabilities and technology trends to enable new collection operations.
• Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings.
• Strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with ops sense, personal initiative, and some technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support cutting-edge intelligence operations using state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
• Technical research, analysis, and report writing; develop operational concepts.
• Engage stakeholders and present reports to all levels of customer management.
• Address high-profile intelligence issues and apply analytic tradecraft to missions.
• Draft and disseminate written reports and requests for information.
