Job summary

Novanta is seeking a Lead Talent Acquisition Partner based in Apex, NC to lead end-to-end recruiting across Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and more. You’ll influence hiring outcomes, build proactive pipelines, and partner with senior leaders using data and market insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience across technical, operational, and business functions.
• Experience recruiting across multiple levels: professional, technical, managerial, and hard-to-fill roles.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders, influencing decisions through data and market intelligence.
• Strong sourcing capability, engaging passive candidates.
• Experience building diverse candidate pipelines and supporting inclusive hiring.
• Practical experience using AI tools like Copilot and recruiting technologies to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted talent acquisition partner and advisor to hiring managers and leaders across functions and locations.
• Develop and execute creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent in competitive markets.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop proactive hiring plans.
• Leverage talent market intelligence, compensation trends, and insights to inform strategy and decisions.
• Source candidates across channels: referrals, networking, associations, outreach, social media, talent communities.
• Build diverse pipelines for current and future needs; own end-to-end lifecycle from intake to onboarding.
• Design structured interview processes and evaluation frameworks to improve quality and consistency.
• Analyze recruiting metrics and funnel performance to identify trends and improvements.
• Lead Talent Acquisition projects on process improvement, tech, analytics, and candidate experience.
