Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a software engineer to design and implement features for our GPU performance profiling tools, with a focus on AI applications. You will work on cutting-edge tooling used by CUDA developers worldwide.

You will collaborate with teams including the CUDA driver and compiler groups, apply deep knowledge of C++, GPUs, and profiling techniques, and contribute to scalable tooling that empowers tomorrow's AI and HPC breakthroughs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience in software engineering with a focus on performance tools.
• BS in EE/CS or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++.
• Existing knowledge of GPU hardware or motivation to learn.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and implement innovative features for our GPU performance profiling tools with a focus on AI applications.
• Apply your own knowledge and skills to build tools that are instantly used by CUDA developers all over the world.
• Collaborate and interact with other teams within NVIDIA, including compiler team as well as the CUDA driver team, to influence and design new features from the bottom up.

What we need to see:

• 5+ years proven experience in software engineering with a focus on performance tools.
• B.S. EE/CS (or equivalent experience).
• Strong programming skills in C++.
• Existing knowledge of GPU hardware and/or motivated to learn.

• Knowledgeable in parsing DWARF

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
