Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer to improve performance, reliability, and scale of a cloud-native platform routing AI workloads across distributed GPU fleets.

You will design services in Java, Go, and Rust, work with Kubernetes-based runtimes, and contribute to open-source projects while collaborating with NVIDIA teams to integrate with KAI Scheduler, NIM, Grove, and Dynamo.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of hands-on software engineering.
  • Expert-level knowledge in Go, C, Rust; experience with Java.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • solid grasp of Kubernetes and container technologies with CI automation experience (GitLab, ArgoCD).
  • Proficiency in Bash and Python; Unix/Linux internals knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Design and ship services in Java, Go, and Rust for a distributed platform.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and scaling of AI workload routing.
  • Automate build, test, integration, and release in cloud-native pipelines.
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA teams to integrate with KAI Scheduler, NVIDIA NIM, Grove, and Dynamo.
  • Triages issues, contributes docs, and participates in open-source project governance.
