Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Security Engineer for our Rolling Meadows, IL site, on-site, to lead security engineering across anti-tamper and cyber domains. The role requires DoD systems experience, security testing, and RMF knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics with 8 years related experience, or higher degrees with fewer years.
• 2–3 years of Systems Engineering with DoD platforms, sensors, or sub-systems.
• 2–3 years in Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, RMF, or related security domains.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance per customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate full lifecycle Systems Engineering in Anti-Tamper and/or Cybersecurity.
• Support hardware and software Anti-Tamper and CyberSecurity techniques and countermeasures.
• Ensure compliance with US Government policies (JSIG, NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253, etc.).
• Coordinate with US Government and programs teams for export-compliant security solutions.
• Prepare Security Plans, ST&E support, and POA&Ms.
