Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior System Safety Engineer supporting the Agile Weapons Division (AFLCMC/EBX) at Eglin AFB, FL. This division is responsible for acquiring dominant strike weapon capabilities with speed and agility through transformative digital acquisition and open architecture approaches. If you’re excited about shaping next‑generation Air Force weapon systems and want to play a critical role in both technical execution and system safety, this position gives you the opportunity to lead essential engineering activities across the entire acquisition lifecycle. You’ll work directly with program managers, engineers, testers, and mission partners to define requirements, guide system design and integration, ensure safety and airworthiness, and help deliver reliable, mission‑ready capability to the warfighter. Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
Clearance: Must have Active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with background investigation completed within the last 5 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an ABET accredited university and 5 years of relevant technical experience; OR Master's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 3 years of relevant technical experience.
Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SSBI and/or Active DoD Top Secret with SCI within 4 years of last investigation.
