Job summary

Astec, a global, environmentally focused infrastructure and manufacturing company, seeks a Systems Project Manager to lead the Materials Solutions Group's project management activities from pre-sale through post-sale coordination. You will supervise project management personnel, collaborate with applications and sales operations, and manage budgets and partner relationships.

Travel related to project activity is expected, including visits to customer sites and business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years in sales, applications or business operations with at least 5 years in management.
• Strong understanding of project management, equipment sales & application and customer service principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project management personnel supporting internal and external customers from pre-sale to post-sale.
• Assist applications group with development of deliverables for systems project sales.
• Oversee order processing, engineering/production scheduling, and related deliverables.
• Coordinate with alliance partners and manage budget review and cost allocation.
• Support product and service departments with troubleshooting and warranty evaluation as needed.
