Job summary

SCI Summit Consulting, LLC in Lakeland, FL seeks an IT infrastructure professional to provide specialized technical expertise across Windows and Linux environments, maintain SaaS applications, and coordinate with vendors. The role involves researching complex problems, designing configurations, and ensuring highly available services in a security-conscious environment.

• Experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting business-critical applications.
• Experience with Windows and Linux Server OS.
• Experience deploying and maintaining SaaS applications.
• Moderate to advanced scripting or programming; PowerShell required; Python a plus.
• Experience with automation tooling and practices.
• Experience maintaining relationships and coordinating with vendors and third parties.
• Well versed in Enterprise Networking; firewall concepts, subnets, and related systems.
• Accustomed to secure network environments and practices.
• On-site 2 days a week with flexibility for 3 days remote to support Great American culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical expertise in researching and resolving complex technology infrastructure problems.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for business applications and Server OS in a virtualized environment.
• Manage capacity planning and forecasting, system performance analysis and tuning.
• Identify, research, design, and implement new system configurations, architectures, and standards.
• Identify and remediate security deviations and vulnerabilities.
• Engage with security, network, operations, development, desktop, and business teams to deliver highly available services.
• Drive ongoing improvements in operational practices, tools & processes.
• Author technical documentation such as system design and configuration procedures.
• Flexible working schedule including up to 3 days remote work arrangements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting for business applications and Server OS in a virtualized environment.
• Manage capacity planning and forecasting, system performance analysis and system tuning.
• Identify, research, design, develop, test, and implement new system configurations, architectures, and standards.
• Identify and remediate security deviations and vulnerabilities.
• Engage closely with security, network, operations, development, desktop, and business teams to deliver highly available services.

• Flexible working schedule including up to 3 days remote work arrangements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting various business critical applications
• Experience in both Windows and Linux Server OS
• Experience deploying and maintaining SaaS Applications
• Moderate to advanced scripting or programing experience. PowerShell required. Python is a plus.
• Experience with automation tooling and practices
• Experience maintaining relationships and coordinating with vendors and third parties
• Well versed in Enterprise Networking. Familiar with firewall concepts, subnetting, and other enterprise Networking systems.
• Accustomed to working in a highly secure network environment and familiar with the practices of maintaining secure systems.
