Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience focused on ML systems or AI infrastructure.
• Experience building or optimizing ML training/inference pipelines (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent).
• Experience with distributed architectures and large-scale ML workloads.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for performance-critical systems.
• Ability to profile and resolve bottlenecks in ML or compute-intensive systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize large-scale ML training and inference systems.
• Develop and maintain high-performance ML infrastructure components.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks via profiling and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with researchers and product teams to deliver ML infrastructure.
• Define system-level metrics and SLOs for production reliability.
• Lead technical design reviews and establish engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers on ML infrastructure and performance optimization.
• Drive adoption of AI-augmented development workflows.
• Contribute to staged rollout strategies with feature flags.
• Assess memory, compute, and I/O trade-offs in ML systems.
