Job summary

Peraton is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Integrator to join our McLean, VA team. The role focuses on program management, systems integration, and mission planning for a classified customer, spanning concept through O&M.

The ideal candidate will manage milestones, track finances, develop briefs, and maintain critical project documents while coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Onsite work Monday–Friday with potential 10% travel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide support to one or more customers assisting with project management.

• Support oversight of inspections ensuring requirements are met.

• Assist with technical exchanges between contractors and customer experts.
• Prepare and maintain SOWs, SRS, ICDs, CONOPs, RFCs, Test Plans and other project documents.
• Review milestone documentation for consistency with requirements.
• Attend CIR, PDR, CDR and other reviews; document results and provide recommendations.

Senior Systems Integrator

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a driven Senior System Integrator (SI) to join our team of technical and business experts providing operational and mission support to a classified customer in Virginia. Our unique team provides operational support for Systems Engineering/Integration and Mission Planning to multiple mission areas. The team is responsible for technical design, operations, and mission planning for the full life cycle of customer specific operations (from concept through development and installation/O&M). The SI in this role is focused on program/project management (e.g., milestone tracking, financial tracking/management, applied systems engineering, etc.)

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to one or more customers assisting with project management
• Work with customers and projects across the entirety of the organization
• Provide support to programmatic and technical forums
• Maintain project plans for assigned projects
• Coordinate and facilitate project PMRs which includes helping create PMR briefings, track project financials, schedule, identify risks/issues, and the way forward
• Support customer oversight of the inspection of various developments, ensuring they meet the organization's requested requirements
• Maintain an action tracking system for action items related to projects, including actions from all reviews
• Participate in and assist with establishing and supporting technical exchanges between the various contractors and customer experts
• Prepare, maintain, and assist with the preparation and maintenance of Statements of Work (SOWs), System Requirements Specifications (SRS), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Requests for Change (RFCs), Test Plans, and all other project documents
• Review milestone documentation to ensure consistency with project requirements
• Attend CIR, PDR, CDR, and other reviews, document results of these meetings, solicit and integrate comments providing recommendations

** This role requires the candidate to perform duties onsite Mon-Fri. May require 10% travel, based on customer needs **

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• An active TS/SCI security clearance with relevant Polygraph
• BA/BS and 12+ years of experience; Masters and 10+ years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Experience in complex, multi-segmented system development, integration, and test of projects including specialized, relevant technical experience in the general areas of systems integration, system development and verification, hardware, and software development
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, Power-Point, and MS Project
• Demonstrated experience in writing, developing briefings, and developing other strategic communications
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team in pursuit of organizational goals
• Experience with preparation and maintenance of project documentation, cost, and master schedules

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in customer environment
• Deep historical and institutional knowledge of the customer mission and programs
• Experience with system testing and evaluation
• Experience with end-to-end integration and test methods including identification and mitigation of programmatic and technical risk
• Spanish language capability

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
